The collection constists of approximately 1500 slides taken by O. Allan Gianniny, Jr., and Joseph L. Vaughan of the rebuilding of the Rotunda at the University of Virginia. The collection also includes a report on the rebuilding presented in nomination for a construction award, by R. E. Lee & Son, Inc. general contractors; a slide index compiled by Gianniny; a photograph of Monroe Hill taken by Anna Dorman, 1915; and a Christmas Card from Mr. and Mrs. Eldon D. Wilson with an etching of the Rotunda.
